Comedy is all about timing

Don't you think that comedy or funny situations or punch lines only become funny with good timing? If it was wrongly delivered by a comedian or if the circumstance is not right, it won't turn out comic and could even offend people as it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Oftentimes, a speaking line in a movie or even in speeches turn out funny depending on the speaker's delivery and timing. This is where sense of humor comes in. You have sense if you know how, where and when to inject humor.
