Hybrids I think are good enough to be called 'green

Hybrids are interesting as they run on both gas and electricity however what makes them "green" to me is the amount of gas that isn't used in a hybrid. Idling stops for example are the best feature that a hybrid has over anything else because imagine all of the gas you are wasting just sitting in traffic. With a hybrid, the mechanisms that use gas are shut down until the accelerator is pressed again. This alone saves miles to the gallon which is why I'm for calling Hybrid cards "green"
